Instead of searching multiple procurement websites yourself, we’re exploring whether MapleLists can identify opportunities that closely match products you already manufacture in Canada.

We know what Canada makes
MapleLists already identifies Canadian manufacturers and the products they produce.

We watch purchasing opportunities
We review publicly available procurement opportunities from Canadian governments and public-sector organizations.

We look for strong matches
We compare what organizations are trying to buy with products Canadian businesses actually manufacture.

We let manufacturers know
When we identify a particularly strong match, we may contact the manufacturer and provide the opportunity.
Not a keyword alert
We don’t simply match broad categories or keywords. Our goal is to identify opportunities where the requested product appears to closely match something the Canadian business actually manufactures.
A tender for janitorial supplies listing toilet paper and paper towels is a real match for a company that makes toilet paper. It is not a match for a company that makes automotive cleaning chemicals, even though both sit under “cleaning products”. That distinction is the whole point of this experiment.
Finding the opportunity is only half the problem.
Government procurement documents can be lengthy and complicated. We’re also exploring tools that could help Canadian businesses understand:
- Mandatory requirements
- Eligibility requirements
- Required forms
- Certifications
- Important deadlines
- Submission instructions
- Potential disqualifiers
The goal would be to turn a complicated tender package into a clear, plain-English checklist.

Where this stands today
The pilot is currently free. We are testing whether Canadian manufacturers find qualified opportunity alerts and procurement assistance useful. Right now there is nothing to buy and nothing to sign up to beyond the form below.
What this is, plainly
MapleLists is independent. It is not connected to the Government of Canada, to any provincial government, municipality or procurement organization, and it does not represent them.
- The opportunities we point to come from publicly available sources. Anyone can find them; we are trying to save you the looking.
- An opportunity from us does not mean you are eligible to bid. Some contracts require an existing supply arrangement, a certification or a security clearance that we have no way of checking.
- It certainly does not mean you will win anything. We can’t promise that and won’t pretend to.
- Always read the official solicitation documents before you bid. Ours is a pointer to them, never a substitute for them.
If you were contacted by us, you were selected because MapleLists already lists your business as a Canadian manufacturer of a particular product, and a public body is currently asking to buy that product. Nothing private was used, and nothing was inferred about your company beyond what it publishes about itself. You can see where our listings come from.
